3. What happens if it rains?

Oktoberfest is a rain-or-shine event! Large tents cover the food, beverage, and seating areas, as well as the live music stage, so you can still enjoy all the festivities regardless of the weather. The Car Show and outdoor activities will go on as planned unless there are severe weather conditions that pose a safety concern. We recommend dressing appropriately for the forecast to stay comfortable throughout the day.

2. Can I bring my children? My Pets?

Children are welcome at Oktoberfest, and there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained, including games, rides, and crafts throughout the weekend. This is a family-friendly event with something for all ages to enjoy.

Pets, however, are not permitted on the festival grounds for the safety and comfort of all guests. The only exception is for service animals wearing their identifying vest.

4. What can I expect at the event?

The Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest Weekend & Car Show is two days filled with great food, music, and family fun – all while supporting a great cause! Guests can stroll through rows of stunning vehicles at the classic Car Show, featuring everything from antiques and muscle cars to custom builds and motorcycles.

Throughout the weekend, enjoy live music by Die Spitzbaum of New York, whose traditional oompah sounds set the perfect festive mood. Authentic German food is served fresh, including bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels, and sweet treats like apple strudel and beehive cakes. Pair your meal with a cold German or domestic beer, hard cider, or other refreshing beverages under our large tented seating area.

The event also includes family-friendly activities for kids, with games, rides, and crafts to keep them entertained. Guests can look forward to lively traditional German dancers performing throughout the weekend, adding even more spirit and authenticity to the celebration.

With delicious food, live entertainment, a vibrant car show, and plenty of activities for all ages, Oktoberfest is a true community celebration that promises fun for the whole family.
